Your starting position will be based upon your current skills and will be reassessed as your skills grow to reward you for gaining new talents. Possible positions and a career path within the Construction Crew Member team include:

• Maintenance Technician Level 1 - Entry Level Technician $15/ hr
• Maintenance Technician Level 2 - Turn Technician $17/hr
• Maintenance Technician Level 3 - Make Ready Specialist $19/hr
• Maintenance Technician Level 4 - HVAC Technician Level 1 $20/hr
• Maintenance Technician Level 5 - HVAC Technician Level 1 $22/hr
• Maintenance Technician Level 6 - HVAC Technician Level 1 $25/hr

Job Description

• Work with team members to repair, maintain, and upgrade current apartments, and keep the property looking great.
• Safely operate various tools and equipment as needed. Including hand tools, power tools, saws, measurement equipment, etc.
• Maintain a clean working environment and maintain a good working order of tools and equipment.
• Assist other teams/divisions as needed depending on schedule and season.
• Additional leadership and skills congruent with the Career Path Table as your position progresses. (Refer to Career Path Table at interview.)

• We own multiple properties with in the St. Louis Metropolitan area and work will shift within those locations.
• Experience preferred, but not required, we’ll teach the right person if they have a good work ethic and attitude.
• Ability to physically perform the required tasks to complete the job. This includes lifting up to 80 lbs and other physically demanding tasks.
• Working in varying weather conditions.
• This is not a maintenance position.
• Ability to work under pressure and have flexibility in scheduled projects.
• Communication within your team and the company as a whole to foster the best possible product for our residents.
