Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team. As an Assistant Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can learn and grow. Your role will involve implementing age-appropriate curriculum, fostering social and emotional development, and promoting a love for learning and a love for Christ.

Duties:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the preschool curriculum
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to explore, play, and learn
- Foster social skills and promote positive behavior through effective classroom management techniques
- Use various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Assess and monitor each child's progress, providing feedback to parents or guardians as needed and daily updates through the ProCare app
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Incorporate literacy education, math concepts, and other subjects into daily activities and lessons

Qualifications:
- Must have state mandated 45 hours or be willing and able to complete such hours within 6 months of employment
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education
- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children
- Special education experience or training is a plus
