Role Responsibilities :
LEADERSHIP
- Conducts interviews with teacher candidates; Builds networks of external future talent
- Conducts classroom observations, evaluations, and provides feedback that motivates and encourages learning in accordance with TLE policies and procedures
- Manages team to ensure TLE curriculum is executed in alignment with brand standards
- Uses a growth mindset to train, coach and develop for the future
- Listens objectively to employee concerns and plans a recommended course of action
- Builds and communicates weekly schedules
- Daily management of classroom ratios
- Manages new hire paperwork and all employee files in compliance with state licensing regulations and TLE standards
- Builds and communicates center schedules to ensure appropriate ratios are always intact and labor is effectively managed to budget
- Trains new hire staff in accordance with state regulations and TLE standards
CUSTOMER FOCUS
- Leads tours with prospective families, highlighting key features and points of difference of the TLE curriculum, TLE standards and TLE staff
- Regularly communicates with families regarding student progress
- Execution of our Show and Tell proprietary app.
- Regularly audits and maintains all records and files for students and teachers
- Ensures the physical environment and health / safety standards are in full compliance with local and state licensing regulations and TLE standards
- Manages relationships with state licensors and conducts center evaluations
- Responsible for accident / incident reporting
- Medication management
- Conducts monthly emergency safety drills
- Manages new customer administration and files in compliance with state licensing regulations and TLE standards
Qualifications : REQUIRED
REQUIRED
- Must possess an original and current Florida Child Care Director Credential
- Child Development Associate (CDA) or higher level of education
- Must have at least 3 to 5 years of child care center director experience
- Must have professional teaching experience with children, ranging from infants to preschool children
- Strong knowledge of Florida child care licensing rules and regulations
- Up to date with all DCF continuing education and in-service training hours requirements
- Must be able to pass a DCF background check
- Possess valid and current First Aid & CPR certifications
- Must have an outgoing and friendly personality
- Must have excellent communication and strong customer service skills
- Must be a team player
PREFERRED
- Three or more years of child care center director experience
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
Compensation : $51,500.00 - $60,000.00 per year
