About NEL Scientific and AnalytiChem:

NEL Scientific is seeking a Customer Experience Representative to support multiple brands under the AnalytiChem umbrella throughout North America.

AnalytiChem is a global scientific company focused on enabling laboratories to achieve their best results. We support our customers through a wide range of inorganic and organic reference materials, culture media products, laboratory consumables and sample preparation equipment. Our brands include SCP Science, Chem Service, Bernd Kraft, OREAS, Chem-Lab, NEL Scientific and BioTRADING and we support customers in a wide range of industries, including industrial, agricultural, environmental, and animal health.

Position Summary:

The Customer Experience (CX) Representative's primary role is to foster positive interactions with customers through professionalism and a "people-first" mindset. The CX will be responsible for accepting and entering orders, sending acknowledgements, answering questions, addressing customer concerns, and keeping organized records/files. This position will primarily support the Chem Service brand, which is located in Westchester, PA.

Requirements:

Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Customer service oriented, will be required to interact with internal and external customers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Excellent communication skills, both on the phone and through email.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Previous experience with order entry programs a plus.
  • Basic understanding of chemicals/chemistry a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to sit at a desk for long periods of time (sit-stand station provided upon request).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
