Minimum 1 years special education experience required.

Soliant is helping a local school district with an open need for a Special Education Teacher (K-12) that can incorporate and implement a fun and engaging instructional program within an online environment for the 2024-2025 school year.

Aside from planning, organizing, and following day to day academic guidelines, our Special Education teacher will be encouraging their students to develop and thrive to their full potential.

Responsibilities :

Organize and administer individualized and group educational plans and programs

Provide ongoing and monthly evaluations of students progress and make recommendations addressing any areas of curriculum areas that may need improvement

Develop and maintain a professional relationship with parents / guardians to inform them of their students progress.

Participate in IEP meetings

Education & Experience :

Masters degree in Special Education is required

Required valid Minnesota Teaching Certificate

2 years of experience in a school setting (preferably remote school teaching work)

Must have all clearances to work in public / charter school

37.5 hours / week
