Boston Dreams is Hiring a Lead Barista Near Windsor, VT

About us

Boston Dreams is a popular Cafe located in Historic Downtown Windsor Vermont. The Cafe specializes in Espresso drinks. The Cafe offers Vermont Roasted Espresso & Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Danishes, NY Style Bagels, Paninis, Award Winning Chili, Delicious Pea Soup and Hard Serve Ice Cream from New England Vendors.

We are looking for a Lead Barista to assist in organizing daily operations and provide education to new staff. Should have work experience with various roles in coffee shops or similar food service industry. The applicant should be available to work during opening hours, including weekends and holidays.

**** Lead Barista will be eligible to receive Tips.

  • Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the cafe
  • Assist with on-boarding of new wait staff and baristas
  • Train employees on drinks preparation and proper use of coffee equipment
  • Monitor inventory levels.
  • Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues and deliver excellent customer service
  • Ensure all cafe areas are clean and tidy
  • Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty

Requirements

  • Availability to work within opening hours (including weekends and holidays)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Customer service attitude
  • High school diploma

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
