**Position Details**

• **Full-Time Schedule:** 36 hours per week, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
• **Responsibilities:**
• Provide direct and indirect patient care in a psychiatric setting
• Maintain standards of Professional Nursing Practice
• Participate in interdisciplinary team coordination of care and services
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide patient/family education
• Provide age-appropriate care to various patient groups
• Perform tasks with exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues

**Essential Requirements**

• Leadership and team skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to handle stress, deadlines, and difficult situations
• Direct patient care experience
• Comfort working with aggressive patients and utilizing physical intervention techniques
• Physical strength, agility, and endurance for patient and equipment handling
• Willingness to participate in continuous quality improvement and ongoing education

**Qualifications**

• Associate's degree in nursing required
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• At least one year of psychiatric experience preferred
• RN or GN certification, must pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation
