Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manufacturing Planner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning within a manufacturing setting, preferably in the pet supplements industry. The Manufacturing Planner will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the production schedule to ensure timely delivery of products while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and inventory goals.
- Coordinate with various departments including procurement, production, quality control, and logistics to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address any delays or issues.
- Analyze production data to identify and implement process improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and other relevant data.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure alignment on production goals and objectives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of production planning strategies and tools.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the pet supplements or related industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices is a plus.
