MS Park Construction LLC is Hiring a CNC Machine Operator Near Winder, GA

Winder Factories is looking for CNC Machine Operator for Voortman Steel Machinery. You will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of computer numerical control (CNC) machines used in the production of steel components. Your primary role will involve setting up CNC machines, loading raw materials, monitoring the machining process, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of finished products. Additionally, you will be expected to perform routine maintenance on the machines to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to understand machining requirements.
  • Set up CNC machines based on job requirements, including loading raw materials and securing workpieces.
  • Input program codes into CNC machines to initiate the machining process.
  • Operate CNC machines to perform various machining operations such as cutting, milling, drilling, and shaping.
  • Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain product quality.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify part dimensions.
  • Identify and address any deviations from the required specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in CNC machining is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator in a steel manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming and G-code.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and adherence to workplace safety guidelines.
