We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Landscape Surveyor to join our team. The successful
candidate will be responsible for conducting site surveys, analyzing land characteristics, and providing
accurate data to inform landscape design and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct detailed site surveys to gather data on land features, topography, and existing
vegetation.
- Use surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations, and drones to collect accurate
measurements and spatial data.
- Analyze survey data to prepare maps, sketches, and reports.
- Collaborate with landscape architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate
and comprehensive survey results.
- Assess environmental impact and advise on sustainable landscape practices.
- Maintain accurate records of surveys and update databases as required.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to land use and
environmental protection.
- Provide technical support during the planning and construction phases of projects.
Requirements:- Minimum of 3 years of experience in land surveying, preferably in landscape or environmental
projects.
- Proficiency in using surveying tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, GPS, total stations).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to land use and environmental
protection.
- Bilingual: English and Russian required.
- Physical ability to conduct fieldwork in various weather conditions and terrains.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Surveyor’s License.
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience with drone surveying and photogrammetry.
- Familiarity with sustainable landscape practices and environmental impact.
