Description
Responsible for managing the accounting and reporting (external/internal) of government, foundation, and corporate grants; month-end close inclusive of journal entries, accruals, GL account analysis and reconciliations to support expense mapping by specific grant. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Primary Responsibilities: Full responsibility for fiscal compliance of government, corporate and foundation Grants and restricted funds.
GRANT RELATED
Timely closing and reporting of monthly agency results and provide Finance team support.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Management preferred.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years accounting experience, preferably with a focus on grants management, contract compliance, and fund accounting within a non-profit agency. Demonstrated knowledge of accounting software (Abila-MIP a plus).
Skills: Excellent Accounting and Time Management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative team environment.
Compensation: $65,000 - $72,000 DOE
