AppleOne Employment Services is Hiring a Senior Account Executive Near Willowbrook, IL

Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Executive to join our intermodal division. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals with a proven track record in intermodal sales, particularly in domestic 53' and 40' containers. As a Sales Executive, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and delivering innovative solutions to meet our clients' supply chain needs. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our intermodal division, driving sales and forging strong client relationships. While previous experience in Port Drayage brokerage sales is highly desired, it's not mandatory. This role offers a unique blend of Inside and Outside Sales (20/80), providing ample opportunities to showcase your sales acumen both in the office and out in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and nurture account relationships through proactive communication and face-to-face interactions.
Identify opportunities to expand our service portfolio within existing accounts.
Design tailored solutions to address customers' supply chain challenges.
Present pricing options and collaborate with the leadership team to finalize agreements.
Work closely with pricing and operations departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Manage customer expectations and utilize account metrics to drive performance.
Promote and embody our Core Values in all interactions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, or related field preferred.
3 years of proven success in intermodal sales, preferably within a 3PL or asset-based services provider.
Entrepreneurial mindset, competitive spirit, and strong leadership qualities.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM software, preferably Salesforce.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong sense of urgency and exceptional time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
