Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transcribing medical reports dictated by healthcare professionals into written form.

Responsibilities:

- Transcribe psychiatric and psychological reports, summaries, office visit notes, and other documents accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure all transcribed documents are grammatically correct and error-free.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, to accurately transcribe medical reports.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear dictation.

Qualifications:

- Proficient typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Excellent listening skills and ability to comprehend diverse accents and dialects.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
