RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a AWS DevOps Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* In this role, the AWS DevOps Engineer will deliver engineering solutions and capabilities that deepen ability to monitor database activity to support Cybersecurity initiative
* Responsible for providing ongoing production support including incident, change and release management activities
* Participate in global on-call rotation to ensure platform availability and stability
* The AWS DevOps Engineer is responsible for technology lifecycle management activities
* Use well established enterprise standards, processes and procedures to ensure engineering activities are delivered in a timely fashion with high quality of work product
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technology discipline
* 3-6 years of experience in a DevOps team developing functionality to support applications as well as integrating 3rd party software components into an ecosystem.
* Experience with automation and scripting knowledge
* Experience in database platforms within IaaS/PaaS
* Experience in working with cloud computing technologies
* Experience working with Database Activity Monitoring or SIEM tools is preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
