SWJ Technology is Hiring an Accounting Specialist Near West Point, GA
RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES: I. Accounts Payable:
- Codes and enters into inventory control software all vendor invoices
- Ensures timely disbursement of funds
- Reconciles all bank accounts and contacts proper bank personnel to correct errors
- Prepares bi-weekly hourly payroll and payroll tax returns and verifies related wire transfers
- Compiles information and prepares spreadsheets to assist Owner and outside auditors in internal and external statement preparations
- Tracks company charitable contributions
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or
- Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Excellent mathematical skills; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs a plus
