Hudson Dental Center is Hiring a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Near West New York, NJ

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment, and ensure the dental office runs efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for dental work
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Ensure patients are comfortable throughout their visit
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Maintain accurate patient records

Requirements:
- Anatomy knowledge
- Proficiency in medical documentation systems
- Ability to perform patient assessment
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices
- Knowledge of infection control protocols
- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software
- Understanding of medical records management
- Competence in medical imaging techniques
- Certification in Dental Assisting
