Veda Family Dentistry is Hiring a Periodontist Near West New York, NJ

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Periodontist to join our dental practice. As a Periodontist, you will specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal diseases and conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in helping our patients maintain optimal oral health and prevent further dental issues.

Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive periodontal examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat various periodontal diseases and conditions
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs
- Perform surgical procedures such as gum grafting, crown lengthening, and dental implant placement
- Administer local anesthesia and sedation as necessary for patient comfort during procedures
- Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide guidance for at-home care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix or similar software
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in periodontal treatments and techniques

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Periodontist or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of periodontal diseases, conditions, and treatments
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques for diagnosing periodontal issues
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and its relation to periodontal health
- Proficient in conducting patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex dental concepts to patients in a clear and concise manner
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient privacy

- Proficient in managing medical records using Dentrix or similar software
- Expertise in performing periodontal procedures with precision and accuracy
