Overview:We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Med Aide with certification for Adult Care Home to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medication administration procedures and regulations in an adult care setting. This position offers the opportunity to work day shifts and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities:Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and facility protocols.
Monitor residents for adverse reactions or side effects from medications.
Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.
Assist with other tasks as needed, including resident care and activities of daily living.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
Requirements:Med Aide certification for Adult Care Home
Previous experience working as a Med Aide in a similar setting preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration.
