Job Description: We are looking for an experienced AWS Data Architect to lead our team in the design, implementation, and maintenance of AWS-based solutions. Ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of data architecture on AWS. AWS Architect will have a deep understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and a proven track record to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure cloud solutions. As an AWS Architect, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership, guiding the architecture and implementation of AWS projects, mentoring team members, and ensuring alignment with best practices and standards.
Responsibilities:
Design end-to-end data architecture solutions on AWS, including data lakes, and data pipelines, to support business requirements and analytics initiatives.
Lead the design and architecture of AWS solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices for data architecture and AWS infrastructure.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions on AWS.
Drive best practices in AWS architecture, security, and operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization of AWS data pipelines and applications.
Develop and maintain documentation for AWS architecture, designs, configurations, and procedures.
Stay updated with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and provide recommendations for adoption.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and security, to deliver integrated solutions on AWS.
Act as a subject matter expert on AWS, providing guidance and support to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as an architect, with a focus on designing and implementing AWS solutions in data lakes and data pipelines.
