Student Photographer Job Details PREP FOR THE SHOOT: Discuss with the student the event photo expectations, be specific on what to capture. Provide location and date/time details. Provide student with contact info (email and cell #) for someone who will be at the event in case the student has questions or needs assistance identifying people. Make sure you have the student’s cell # in case you need to get a hold of them quickly. AFTER THE SHOOT: Student supplies a link to assets. Student submits their hours (shooting/processing/travel time) to you in Workday. You approve their hours. Please inform Student Employment (studentemployment@babson.edu) when the assignment is complete, even if the student’s end date is set to June 30 (Student Employment can leave the position on for the student but letting Student Employment know when the assignment is complete will change the comp to $0 temporarily. You can put this info in the comments of the staffing request or by sending an email to Student Employment. Manager can then send an email if they plan to work with the student again and Student Employment can update the pay rate back to $50/hr.
