2024-2025 School Year

Primary Objective: To assist the school principal in the leadership, coordination, supervision and management of the school program and operation.

Essential Functions:

• Assist the principal in building a positive climate & culture that is welcoming, inclusive, and supportive of all students, staff, and community members 
• Assist the principal in building positive relations with families and the community
• Act as an instructional leader supporting and inspiring staff through professional development experiences and professional learning communities 
• Utilize data to develop and support systems to monitor the social emotional and academic progress of students and ensuring the implementation of interventions as needed
• Supervises and evaluates classroom teachers and support staff
• Ensures implementation of the District curriculum
• Addresses student discipline issues
• Utilize leadership and administrative skills to promote the educational development of every student
• Motivate instructional and support staff to strive for superior performance
• Model and facilitate good human relations skills by effectively interacting with others
• Implement policies, regulations, and directives of the School Board and Superintendent
• Coordinate teacher evaluation attend meetings as designated by the principal
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree, Ed.D., and/or Ph.D. in school administration
• Minimum of five years teaching experience
• Educational administrative experience, preferred
• Must meet state certification requirements
