Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team at Graber Manufacturing, Inc. This role will primarily involve operating our CNC VB-80 Bender to fabricate precision-formed metal components for our Madrax and Thomas Steele product lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, particularly in CNC bending operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, program, and operate the CNC VB-80 Bender machine to bend various metal materials according to design specifications.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate and precise bending outcomes.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Inspect finished parts to verify adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Cross-train in other areas of fabrication, including cutting, welding, and assembly, to support production needs.
  • Uphold safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience operating CNC bending machines is preferred
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on precision in executing fabrication tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production targets.
  • Familiarity with other fabrication processes such as cutting, welding, and assembly is advantageous.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in metal fabrication is preferred.
