Transportation Manager

We are looking for a responsible, safety-oriented individual interested in driving their way to success with a company that operates in the business of serving others. As a Medical Transportation Manager, your strong leadership will guide a team that provides non-emergent transport to patients who require special assistance with arriving at their destinations due to mobility impairments. Triton primarily serves older adults who need transport to hospitals, care facilities and/or their place of residence throughout Anchorage and the Mat-Su Valley. Our patients have a variety of health conditions and abilities, so prompt and compassionate service is required in order to provide the level of service they deserve and have come to expect with Triton. Job Responsibilities - you knew they were coming!

• Oversee day to day transportation operations
• Determine or obtain best routes for drivers
• Set goals that align with Triton mission
• Facilitate team performance development and improvement
• Lead training of other team members; maintains compliance with all policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
• Ensure staffing is adequate for needs
• Safely operate assigned vehicle with patient needs in mind
• Operate a gurney safely and comfortably for each patient
• Be prompt and courteous with all interactions
• Ability to position patients carefully
• Maintain a neat, clean personal appearance
• Demonstrate timeliness, sincerity and patience when working with clients
• Accept other duties and activities as assigned

Skills and Qualifications - we know you have them!

• At least 1 year transportation experience preferred
• Compassionate and caring attitude

• Service oriented mindset
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Attention to detail and ability to responsibly manage time
• Adjust to changing schedules with openness to flexibility
• Ability to work independently
• At least 18 years old with valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable automobile
• Proof of current automobile insurance
• Criminal background check clearance/fingerprint clearance
• Negative TB test
Current CPR certification

Physical Requirements - to uplift others!

Requires considerable physical effort most of the day including lifting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, twisting, climbing, walking, exposure to temperature and humidity changes. Ability to lift/transfer up to 50 pounds. Must possess sight/hearing senses or use appropriate adaptive devices that will enable senses to function at a level required to meet essential duties of this position.


Working Environment-there will be snacks!

Travel to/from customer destinations is required, with additional time in a warehouse setting.
