We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Assistant Director to join our dynamic team and help lead our school in providing exceptional care and education.

Job Description:

The Preschool Assistant Director will assist the Preschool Director in the day-to-day operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe, educational, and nurturing environment for children. This role involves staff supervision, curriculum implementation, and maintaining positive relationships with parents and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in managing the daily operations of the preschool.

- Supervise and support teaching staff, ensuring adherence to the school’s educational standards and policies.

- Help develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities.

- Maintain open and effective communication with parents, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.

- Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and health and safety regulations.

- Participate in staff recruitment, training, and evaluation processes.

- Support the Director in financial planning, budgeting, and resource management.

- Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative school culture.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education (preferred)

-Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)

-Child Development, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.

- Knowledge of state licensing requirements and early childhood education best practices.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents.

- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
