Shift & Schedule

• This is a full-time position, weekend and holiday hours are required as we are a retail business in a resort area.
• Sales office hours 9-5.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales engagements with customers on site, reviewing product features and benefits, preparing quotes and trade evaluations.
• Effectively follow successful sales processes, including timely completion of paperwork.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of on hand and on order boat inventory.
• Perform customer on water boat demonstrations.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, coworkers and management.
• Actively participate in boat shows, store and off-site sales and customer events.
• Complete closing documents with customers and sell F&I products.
• Complete registration title documents and manufacturing warranty registrations.

Skills and Abilities

• Proven work experience as a Sales Associate.
• Good phone, text and email etiquette.
• Experience operating boats.
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Proficiency in CRM software for daily follow up and prospecting for new customers.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Ability to negotiate and close deals.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years sales experience selling boats, autos, RVs or power sport equipment.
• Knowledge and experience with boat handling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
