Metrology & Calibration TechnicianRothe Enterprises, Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced Senior Calibration Technician. This position will support Rothe on the Wallops Metrology and Calibration Lab Contract (WMCL) at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility.
The WMCL provides both calibration and repair services for customers’ Measuring and Test Equipment (MTE) at WFF.

The WMCL provides both calibration and repair services for customers’ Measuring and Test Equipment (MTE) at WFF.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensures compliance with ISO standards
- Responsible for performing repairs and calibrations
- Understand the objective of calibration and how to assess results
- Emphasis on RF calibrations with systems including but not limited to, Measuring Receivers, Reference level generator, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power sensor calibrations, signal generator calibrations and radio test equipment
- May be assigned the position of Onsite Lead as required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform work within specific timeframes and adhere to deadlines
- Proficient in Physical Dimensional, DC & Low, RF, Force and Temperature and requires minimal supervision to perform calibrations in these areas in the lab or at customer sites
- Requires AA degree in associated discipline or electronics certification
- A combination of education, training, or certification that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities may be substituted for the degree.
- Experience working with multi-discipline teams and customers.
- This position requires 5 years’ experience in calibration services or related field.
- ASQ CCT is preferred
- This position is contingent on successful completion of security badging requirements which include but are not limited to background checks, drug screening.
