gpac is Hiring a Trust Officer Near Wake Forest, NC

Salary: $70k - 120k per year

We are seeking an experienced trust officer to join our team managing client trusts and estates. As a trust officer, you will work directly with high net worth clients to manage assets placed in trust, administer estate plans, and provide personalized advice around wealth transfer plans.

Responsibilities

  • Administer various types of trusts and estates
  • Provide clients clear explanations and guidance on trust accounts and estate planning strategies
  • Review and interpret trust agreements and wills
  • Determine trust beneficiaries and distributions; execute investment and payout decisions
  • Manage communications with beneficiaries, executors, attorneys and other related parties
  • Work closely with investment advisors on developing and implementing investment plans
  • Stay current on trust, tax, and probate laws and regulation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; JD degree a plus
  • At least 5 years of experience in trust or estate administration
  • In-depth knowledge of fiduciary and trust activities
  • Strong analytical thinker with excellent communication skills
  • CFP (Certified Financial Planner) or CTFA (Certified Trust & Fiduciary Advisor) preferred
