As a Food Preparation Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant by assisting with food preparation, handling customer orders, and maintaining cleanliness in the food service area.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables

- Measure and assemble ingredients according to recipes

- Assist with cooking and grilling food items as directed by the chef or cook

- Package and label food items for takeout orders

- Handle customer orders at the cash register or POS system

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the food service area

- Clear tables and assist with bussing duties as needed

- Follow all safety and health regulations when handling food

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred

- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling cash transactions

- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
