DIVISIONAL MARKETING MANAGER | JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY At Magnolia, the Divisional Marketing Manager is responsible for customer acquisition and retention and plays a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies to drive online sales and enhance the overall digital presence. Leveraging their expertise in digital marketing, the Divisional Marketing Manager will strategize and execute initiatives to attract new customers, enhance their shopping experience, and implement retention strategies to maximize customer lifetime value. This position works from the Magnolia Headquarters in Waco, Texas. It reports to the Ecommerce Director and has supervisory responsibilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Uphold Magnolia’s manifesto and values Develop and execute comprehensive ecommerce marketing and content strategies aligned brand and overall marketing objectives Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing efforts support overall business goals Drive ecommerce needs with brand positioning and messaging, ensuring consistency across all digital marketing channels Build extensive marketing plans that align with retail trends and establish KPIs to measure campaign effectiveness Maintain a deep understand of target audience, market trends, and competitor activations Conceptualize with director of ecommerce, plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social, email, and paid Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling and strategic digital assets to support the ecommerce site Lead ecommerce marketing initiatives for new product launches, coordinating efforts with merchandising, marketing, and creative teams Develop go-to market strategies that create excitement and anticipation around new product releases Work with PR to develop and analyze online activation of influencer campaigns Research, build, maintain, and evaluate strategies to enhance guest engagement and loyalty, utilizing data driven insights to inform personalized marketing approaches Implement initiatives across the site that create a sense of community and inspiration Collaborate with guest services to address guest feedback, concerns, and enhance overall guest experience Manage budgets for ecommerce marketing initiatives Monitor spending, track ROI and make adjustments as needed to optimize marketing investments Stay informed about industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities related to guest acquisition and retention Implement insights from competitive analysis to enhance our strategies Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Hard skills: Proficient in analytics tools such as GA and Adobe Analytics; proven experience as in ecommerce marketing with a focus on customer acquisition and retention; strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics; history of managing earned media for established dynamic brands and excellent relationships with journalists and influencers a priority; proven track record of driving traffic and conversion with an awareness of shifts in industry trends Soft skills: Excellent written, verbal, and digital communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, complex, and often-changing environment; high level of professionalism with ability to hold critical information confidentially; creative problem-solver with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt strategies based on evolving market trends Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field from a 4-year college or university preferred Experience: 5 year of experience in related ecommerce marketing roles preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience required PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and arms to reach, handle, feel; utilize fine motor dexterity of fingers; talk or hear and taste or smell.
