Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering and technical support to the USCG Program Management Office (PMO)
• Conduct engineering design research and advise PMO on technical issues or deficiencies impacting ship production, operations, and maintenance
• Review Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) submittals from the shipbuilder for specification adherence
• Review shipbuilder drawings to support planned production
• Review Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for technical acceptance
• Work with engineering support team(s) to ensure quality control of deliverables for clients

Education:

• BS Degree in Engineering or related Technical field

REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Three (3) years of experience in the following marine and related fields:
• Propulsion Systems
• Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC)
• Hydraulics and Weight Handling Equipment
• Electrical Systems
• Piping and Pressure Vessels
• Other Auxiliary and/or Ship Support Systems
• Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM)
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and other System Safety Components
• Acquisition

Security Requirement:

• Must qualify for and receive a CAC card
• Secret clearance is required
• Must be a citizen of the United States.
