Responsibilities include:
Classroom instruction for older early childhood population aged ~4-5 years, administrative duties, supervision of interns, meal/snack prep, family/parent engagement.
This position reports directly to the Center’s Director.
Classroom oversight and direction given by the Teachers to ensure appropriate positive interaction between staff and children; model of high standards for teaching and interaction with children, staff, and parents; and reflective collaboration with other staff to ensure the implementation of the CDC philosophy, policies, and procedures.
Work-study students and other seasonal workers report directly to this position.
The nature of this role within the organizational unit is to provide high quality developmentally appropriate child care, primarily for children ages 2½ to 6 years old.
