The Judge Group is Hiring a Maintenance & Facilities Technician Near Virginia, VA
Large Manufacturing Company in southern Virginia Beach, VA is looking for a Maintenance and Facilities Technician. This will be a night shift position - 5pm - 3am (Mon - Thurs)Lots of Overtime Available ! Details -Over see Preventive Maintenance programs - Perform associated electrical work for shop equipment -Complete or make sure Preventative Maintenance are being done on all Machines / tools & Facility equipment- Make sure Maintenance Service Reports are being completed yearly, quarterly, bi-monthly, monthly, weekly, daily etc.
Coordinate and evaluate with Facility Maintenance for outside contractor maintenance work. -Inspect equipment and machinery and recommend repair or replacement- General Facilities Maintenance including HVAC, Lighting, Landscape, Roof, PestControl, etc.
Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent experience- 2 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of plant electrical, mechanical - Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical trades and OHSA Safety Training- Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods
