Job Summary:

The Digital Marketing Specialist reports to the Director of Marketing and Public Relations and is responsible for enhancing brand awareness within the digital space as well as driving action. This position is responsible for the operations of all of Good Samaritan’s web/social/digital platforms. The Digital Marketing Specialist will focus on projects relating to customer relationship management (CRM), including email management of internal/external communications. The Specialist will learn and report on information about our patients’ behaviors and preferences, and subsequently execute strategies based on those findings. The Specialist will also perform appointment scheduling duties related to campaign calls to action.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Coordinate, develop and manage all digital content such as website, blogs, videos, social media, patient and employee communications, etc.
2. Provide marketing automation support for email and nurturing campaigns.
3. Answer phone calls that come through for call-tracked marketing campaigns and schedule appointments.
4. Call potential patients that have requested appointments via online form submission and those who have interacted with email marketing.
5. Responsible for the creation, strategy, messaging and implementation of email newsletters.
6. Create and execute various digital promotions and marketing campaigns.
7. Liaise with various internal departments to understand their needs and how best to promote them externally in digital communications.
8. Produce promotional videos, including live social media videos.
9. Produce audio recordings (e.g. podcasts, on hold messages, radio commercials).
10. Photography for advertising and publications.
11. Track and report key metrics.
12. Other duties as assigned.

Secondary Job Duties That May be Reassigned:

1. Event coordination.
2. Provides supervision to volunteers, utilized in Marketing/Public Relations department.

Job Specifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, advertising or communications preferred.
• Experience:
  • Graphic design skills, with proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
  • Video production and editing skills, preferred.
  • Proficient in Facebook ads manager.
  • Demonstrable experience and understanding of content management, campaign measurement, SEO/SEM, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, social media platforms, and CRM.
  • SEO and Google Ad Words experience.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Strong verbal, written and organizational skills.
  • 1-2 years experience.
