Family Health Center is Hiring an Accounting Coordinator Near Vincennes, IN

Position Summary

The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining financial records, with a particular emphasis on processing invoices. They review and reconcile general ledger accounts. They use Sage Intacct Accounting software program and other electronic tools to allow for fast and efficient processing and ensure accurate recordkeeping. They perform a range of general bookkeeping and accounting tasks. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with accounts payable and purchasing functions.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.
  • Process transactions for commercial credit card program.
  • Enter and maintain agreements in contract management application.
  • Assist with Patient Trust Account program.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information.
  • Assist with auditor requests and correspondence.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • Associate degree, Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • 2-5 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrate skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization.
  • Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.
  • Highly detail-oriented.
