Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Infusion to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various medical areas such as infectious disease care, spinal tap, PICU, and acute pain management.
Responsibilities:
- Administer infusion therapy to patients as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patient vital signs during infusion treatments
- Educate patients and families on infusion therapy procedures and potential side effects
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation of infusion therapy
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
- Perform specimen collection processing and ensure timely delivery to the laboratory
Skills:
- Proficient in acute care practices and acute pain management techniques
- Experience in occupational health and trauma medicine
- Strong understanding of medical systems and electronic health records
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality patient care
