Job Description

Donor Database Coordinator

Status: Full-time with benefits, exempt

Reports to: Director of Donor Engagement

This is an in-office position. Salary range: $40 - $50k

Agape Flights is a Christian aviation ministry, delivering cargo, mail and humanitarian aid to hundreds of missionary families in Haiti, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas. In a world where resources are few and the infrastructure is sparse, Agape Flights’ timely deliveries of mail and supplies are vital to sustain missionary families and their ministries.

The Donor Database Coordinator’s primary role is to fully manage Agape Flights’ donor database. Responsibilities include maintaining donor records, processing gifts and gift acknowledgements and compiling necessary reports. Additional responsibilities include serving as collaborative support related to donor communication and activities.

:

· Adds and updates constituent records including gifts, pledges, biographical and contact information, event registrations, interaction reports and any other data required for development and financial reporting purposes.

· Works closely with the Director of Donor Engagement and Director of Financial Services to accurately process gifts in a timely manner following established internal protocol for data entry while adhering to ECFA guidelines.

· Creates all reports: cash, check, credit card and coordinates reporting to the financial services office. And in the absence of financial services personnel, processes missionary payments.

· Compiles weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly donor and gift reports for Director of Donor Engagement and CEO.

· Prepares gift acknowledgments for donors according to stewardship plan.

· Ensures data accuracy which involves merging duplicate records, performing global changes, regularly running queries and reports, etc.

· Establishes database protocols and communicates with staff for streamlined implementation.

· Communicates with and serves donors regarding gift related inquiries.

· Supports the Development Department and CEO with administrative duties related to donor communication and activities. These duties may include but are not limited to mail merges for direct mail appeals, event guest list management, hangar tours, and special projects.

Required:

· Minimum of 2 years working in a non-profit or customer service related field

· Minimum of 2 years donor database or data entry experience

· Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel and Outlook

· Detail-oriented, with strong organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills

· Commitment to maintain confidentiality and high degree of accuracy

· Great interpersonal and communication skills

· Associate Degree and/or a combination of experience in lieu of degree

· Is compelled by the love of Christ with passion, integrity and commitment to serve missionaries and donors

· Is a strong independent worker who also values team collaboration

· Is thorough, accurate and organized, yet flexible and creative

· Is able to cheerfully communicate with donors

· Is willing to work alongside staff and volunteers for extended hours during times of disaster response

Preferred experience:

· DonorView database experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
