Position Summary
The role will be responsible for supporting facility safety programs while performing duties related to unloading inbound receipts, stock put-a-ways, loading, and supporting operations through material movements throughout the distribution operation.
Responsibilities
Industrial Equipment Certification (Will Train).
Staging of Finished Goods for outbound shipment to DHL in designated areas.
Follow all prescribed Health, Safety and Environmental laws, OSHA, rules and regulations.
Complete all required safety and regulatory training as applies.
Understand SAP / WMS and functionality of THOR units.
Maintain industrial equipment and other lifting devices as required, including battery changing / charging, water levels and charging areas, as it applies.
Interface with all levels of Team Members in a positive, team building manner.
Work from established procedures and / or verbal instructions.
Perform all basic duties as required or assigned.
Maintain work areas in a neat and orderly condition in accordance with the Visual Management and 5S Standards.
Maintain inventory by identifying, scanning and putting materials in correct locations.
Escalate all issues affecting key metrics : Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Other duties as assigned due to business needs.
