Unibilt Industries is Hiring an Accounting Manager Near Vandalia, OH
Job Description:The Accounting Manager is responsible for handling all aspects of the accounting operations, including the monthly close process, financial reporting, the annual operating budget, tax compliance, internal controls and policy development.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily operations of general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, payroll and cash flow management.
- Oversight of accounts payable personnel
- Backup position to HR Manager for weekly payroll processing
- Monthly financial statement close process with preparation of monthly financial statement reporting package that includes operating statement, balance sheet, sales reports and other key performance indicators that provide senior management with an accurate picture of the company’s current and future financial position and operating results.
- Work with the senior leadership team to prepare the annual operating budget for the company.
- Establish, implement and monitor appropriate internal controls to ensure the continued reliability of accounting systems.
- Manage compliance with various U.S. statutory tax requirements, such as income, sales and use, payroll taxes both internally and working with outside service providers.
- Any other accounting related responsibilities and/or special projects that may be assigned.
- Oversight and point of contact for subcontract IT service provider
- Miscellaneous office management and other responsibilities such as license, registration, insurance renewals, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 4 – 6 years of professional work experience
- 2 years of cost accounting experience
- Experience with ERP systems, including query writing
- Excellent Excel spreadsheet skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications
- Self-starter with ability to carry out assigned tasks timely and efficiently
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem solving and follow-up skills.
- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written, and attention to detail.
