This role is built on a contract basis, where you will be managing financial operations, performing analysis, and overseeing complex government projects. You will be working closely with both internal and external auditors, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded, filed, and reported. Responsibilities:• Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with Governmental Accounting Standard Boards Principles, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.• Working closely with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.• Ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.• Performing consistent and timely reconciliation of all accounts.• Reviewing ad hoc reports to ensure accuracy.• Applying knowledge of Auditing, Budget Processes, Federal Government, Federal Government Contracts, Audit - Financial, Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, Ledger Account Reconciliation, Ledger Reconciliations, and System Integration.
