Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, coding, and terminology.
Responsibilities:
- Review and process medical claims
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims to insurance companies
- Verify patients' insurance coverage
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues
- Maintain patient billing records
- Utilize medical billing software and systems effectively
Experience:
- Prior experience in medical billing or related field
- Proficiency in ICD-9, ICD-10 coding systems
- Knowledge of DRG (Diagnosis Related Group) coding
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical records
- Ability to navigate medical billing software efficiently
