POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
ANNOUNCEMENT NO. 11424
TITLE: Accounting Technician
DEPARTMENT: Finance
LOCATION: 327 N Ashley St.
SALARY RANGE: $19.69 per hour
JOB SUMMARY: This position will be responsible for basic bookkeeping and cashiering duties in support of the county’s financial operations. Duties are primarily related to but not limited to accounts receivable, licensing, customer service and other related duties. Successful performance ensures the efficiency and effectiveness of the county’s operations.
MINIMUM TRAINING: Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with completion of specialized training in the field of work, in addition to basic skills typically associated with a high school diploma. Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.
