The Encompass Group is Hiring a Financial Controller Near Washington, DC
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all financial activities, including financial planning and budget management. The Financial Controller will be responsible for ensuring the company's financial health and compliance with accounting regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven work experience as a in Property Accounting or Real Estate
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
This position requires a candidate with exceptional financial acumen and proficiency in various financial concepts. The successful candidate should possess expertise in account analysis, payroll management, and financial analysis to excel in this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,622.46 - $121,179.74 per year
