Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments, gathering subjective and objective data to develop personalized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and evidence-based practices.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Implement effective interventions, including activities of daily living (ADL) training, therapeutic exercise, and adaptive equipment recommendations, to optimize patient function and promote recovery.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, sharing relevant information and coordinating care with other providers and referral agencies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Confidentiality: Maintain strict patient confidentiality and protect sensitive information by HIPAA regulations.
- Case Management: Independently manage your caseload, prioritizing patient needs and maintaining productivity standards.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Serve as a clinical mentor to colleagues and supervise aides and assistants as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for program improvement and actively participate in implementing positive changes.
- Required:
- Valid license to practice occupational therapy in Idaho.
- Current CPR certification.
