Job Description:
The Card Services Representative is responsible for providing operational support for card services. The successful candidate will assist with issuing new cards, handle debit and credit card disputes and serve as a point of contact for card related issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for case support, investigation, disposition, and/or recovery scenarios involving unauthorized, disputed, or erroneous account activity on debit cards and credit cards
- Act as a subject matter expert to the organization, for the regulatory risks and requirements relating to the debit card and credit card products
- Assist members with account inquiries, transfers, IRAs and CDs
- Educate members on our products and services
- Complete member account maintenance and updates as needed
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Open new accounts, monitor dormant accounts, close accounts and process deceased accounts
- Serve as a liaison for POA and Attorneys
- Process returned items, subpoenas, garnishments, reclamations and verification of deposit
- Provide excellent service to our members and promote a positive experience for all interactions
- Perform other duties as assigned by Tuscaloosa VA Federal Credit Union
