What You Will DoThe LPN Dispensing Nurse is responsible for dispensing any medications the clinic may utilize in the treatment of patients. The LPN Dispensing Nurse is responsible for the completeness of all medical aspects of the medical record and works with the Director of Nursing to assure appropriate medical care for patients.

The LPN Dispensing Nurse is responsible for the completeness of all medical aspects of the medical record and works with the Director of Nursing to assure appropriate medical care for patients.
Requirements
- Must possess a current Maryland LPN license.
- Must possess a current CPR license.
- Previous long-term care experience is desirable.
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
- Sit, stands, walks, bends, lift, and moves intermittently during working hours.
- Must be available to work during clinic hours.
- Sets up for dispensing of medication and dispenses medication.
- Monitors medication inventory and reports to charge nurse.
- Reconciles inventory of Methadone and buprenorphine at conclusion of dosing.
- Signs and processes physician verbal orders.
- Enters notes in KIPU and inputs flags as per physician orders.
- Collects UDS as needed.
- Monitors vital signs for dose changes.
- Calibrates Methadone pump.
- Be proficient with State Licensure Standards, CARF Standards, 42 CFR and HIPAA standards and Company policies.
