Job Description: Wright Christian Academy is seeking a passionate, committed, and effective elementary school teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching elementary school students and a strong desire to skillfully integrate their Christian faith into their teaching.
School Information: Founded in 1989, Wright Christian Academy has been providing a first-rate college-preparatory education to students in Tulsa and the surrounding areas for over three decades.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that align with our curriculum standards.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate instructional materials and strategies that integrate Christian faith into the curriculum.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, providing ongoing feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, colleagues, and administrators.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience for students.
- Attend and participate in school-wide events and activities.
Qualifications:
- A personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Must be a US Citizen
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood of Elementary Education
- Valid teaching license
- ACSI certification preferred
- Experience teaching elementary school students
- Knowledge of and commitment to Christian faith and values
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators
- Creativity, flexibility, and adaptability to support differentiation in the classroom
- Willingness and ability to foster an affirming yet challenging environment where innovation and creativity are celebrated.
- Proficient in the use of technology.
