As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled Auto Body Estimator to join our team. This role is essential for accurately assessing vehicle damage, preparing estimates, and managing the repair process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle damage to create detailed and accurate repair estimates.
- Communicate with customers to provide clear explanations of repair processes and costs, ensuring their understanding and satisfaction.
- Work closely with insurance companies to process claims, negotiate approvals, and ensure timely payments.
- Utilize knowledge of Direct Repair Programs (DRP) to manage relationships and compliance with insurance partners.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry repair techniques and standards.
- Use CCC and Mitchell estimating platforms to prepare and submit estimates, manage workflows, and track repair progress.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure all repairs meet or exceed industry standards.
- Collaborate with the Operation Manager and other team members to streamline operations and enhance customer service.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Auto Body Estimator or similar role in an auto body shop.
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle repair processes and safety standards.
- Certified I-CAR Gold Class Professional.
- Proficient in using CCC and Mitchell estimating platforms.
- Strong understanding of insurance claims processes and Direct Repair Programs (DRP).
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and insurance representatives.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- High school diploma required; further education in auto body repair, automotive service management, or related field preferred.
