Our well-established client, who has nearly 150 years in business, seeks a reliable AP/AR Clerk to join their team! This is a stellar opportunity for someone looking for stability and a close-knit team environment.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable / Receivable Clerk (AP/AR)
- Handle invoices, cash applications, reimbursements, bank deposits, and mail drop off/pickup.
- Research and respond to internal/external AP/AR inquiries.
- Support AP vendor invoice processing, PO matching, payments, and reconciliations.
- Request and monitor AP payment approvals.
- Assist with 1099 processing and additional AP/AR duties.
Qualifications of the Accounts Payable / Receivable Clerk (AP/AR)
- 1 year of AP and/or payroll experience required.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs) and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Team-oriented with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Deadline-driven with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
