Malace|HR is Hiring a HR Coordinator Near Troy, MI

Malace HR is seeking an HR Coordinator to join our growing human resources team.

This is a full-time, in-office position, located in Troy, MI, with the opportunity to earn up to four (4) remote work-from-home days per month.

The preferred candidate will have the following education and experience:

  • One or more years' experience serving in an administrative or support role in a professional office environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (or other Business major) preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in the staffing industry is helpful.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage hard and digital copies of employee records.
  • Update records of new and existing staff.
  • Collaborate with the entire human resource team.
  • Assist with internal and external human resource inquiries from employees.
  • Assist with employee performance reviews.
  • Track the hiring status of candidates using the company's human resource information system (HRIS).
  • Conduct background checks on new employees.
  • Manage and track the status of unemployment claims, Work Opportunity Tax Credits (WOTC) and E-Verify submittals.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.
