TITLE: Campus Monitor IIB
Job Summary: The job of "Campus Monitor" is done for the purpose/s of maintaining a safe and orderly campus and environment; providing adequate supervision for students, and assisting with needed responses to off campus guests or interferences.

Qualifications:
Experience Required: Prior job related experience with increasing levels of responsibilities, preferably in school and/or institutional setting.
Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities Required:
Skills to appropriately intervene in emergency or potentially critical situations, diffuse potentially volatile situations, use English in both written and verbal form, communicate effectively with persons of varied educational and cultural backgrounds, document accurately.
Knowledge of Student Conduct Code and district's drug, alcohol, and tobacco policy for students.
Abilities to stand or walk for prolonged periods, understand and carry out oral and written instructions, maintain firm but courteous attitude toward individuals, maintain written records adjust to flexible assignments often with short notice. Significant physical abilities include talking/hearing conversations, near/far visual acuity/depth perception/visual accommodation/field of vision.
Education Required: High School diploma or equivalent.
Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required: Current Red Cross First Aid Card, Oregon Fingerprint and Criminal Check clearance.
Bilingual/Bicultural strongly preferred
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 hrs per day on school days.
